Carnegie Locksmith Service is a locally based locksmith business operating from Carnegie and serving customers across the surrounding Melbourne area.
Locksmithing has a marketing problem. A lot of it is sold with urgency, exclamation marks and badges nobody can verify. The actual work is quieter than that: look at the door, work out what is wrong, explain the options, fit the right thing properly, and check it before leaving.
That is what this business does. We would rather be the locksmith you call again than the one that arrives loudest.

You should understand what is wrong and what the options are before any work starts. If we recommend replacing something, we will tell you why, and we will tell you when doing less is the better answer.

Drill dust, packaging, old hardware and offcuts leave with us. It is a small thing and it is the part people remember.

The most useful change is often unglamorous — a keeper fixed properly into solid timber, or two keys instead of five. We would rather solve the problem than sell the largest product that fits.
